Setup .NET development environment on macOS

Download the dotnet-install.sh script

cd
curl -sSL https://dot.net/v1/dotnet-install.sh > dotnet-install.sh
chmod +x dotnet-install.sh

This is a simple guide for configuring a Ruby 2 environment on Ubuntu. This was tested for Ruby 2.7.2 on Ubuntu 22.04.3. All scripts are bash.

Before going through these steps make sure you have done Setup C++ development environment on macOS

Download and install from Visual Studio Code site.

Open Visual Studio Code and press Cmd + Shift + p. Select Shell Command: Install 'code' command in PATH.

Install Homebrew:

/bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)"

This is a simple guide for configuring a Ruby 2 environment on Windows 11. All scripts are PowerShell.

This will allow you to execute PowerShell scripts locally on your machine. In PowerShell as Administrator:

Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Scope LocalMachine
